Employer’s agent appointment for beautiful residential development in Ledbury

We have been appointed by a private client to act as Employer’s Agent for a stunning bespoke residential development located on the outskirts of Ledbury, Herefordshire.

The project comprises a carefully considered combination of partial refurbishment and new-build construction, delivering a high-quality private dwelling designed specifically to meet the client’s requirements.

During the pre-construction phase, we will provide comprehensive design and technical advice to support the ongoing development of the scheme. Our role will also include the preparation of a detailed specification to clearly define the scope and quality of the works, alongside the development of a robust cost plan to guide financial management and ensure alignment with the client’s budget.

In addition, we will oversee the preparation and execution of the JCT building contract, helping to establish a clear and structured framework for the delivery of the project.

Once construction begins, we will undertake the role of Contract Administrator, managing and administering the building contract throughout the construction phase. Working closely with the client, design team and appointed contractor, our team will monitor progress, manage risk and ensure the works are delivered in accordance with the agreed programme, quality standards and contractual obligations.

Construction is scheduled to commence in June 2026, with a programme of approximately 10 months.
